About Michael John Francis
Ritual Architect of Memoir and Myth, Founder of The Ritual Archive Editions
I am a ritual architect, memoirist, and ceremonial publisher. My work sanctifies the threshold between literature, memory, and symbolic transmission—where every page is a chamber, every glyph a breath, and every silence a rite.
Initiated into Freemasonry in 2011, I have served in ritual leadership across multiple degrees and offices. The Lodge became my sanctuary, the ritual my compass, and the Archive my offering. I do not write to be understood. I write to be endured. I do not lead. I become.
🜁 Why I Write
I write to remember what cannot be spoken.
I write to sanctify what was once unspeakable.
I write to transform ache into architecture.
My first book, Forged in Fear: A Journey of Transformation, was born not from ambition but from necessity. It emerged from the depths of despair—nights when silence pressed against my chest, and breathing felt monumental. It is not a redemption arc. It is a raw, unflinching reflection on what it means to endure.
My life isn’t a straightforward narrative; it’s a saga of intertwined triumphs and struggles. Every scar tells a story. Every breath is a testament to survival. Writing confronts what I once buried. Each word is a shard drawn from the soul—painful, necessary, irreversible.
In those darkest moments, I was not alone. Gary, Tony, and Barry—my steadfast companions—anchored me to hope. The rituals of Freemasonry became a refuge, a compass, a rhythm that steadied my unravelling mind. Their presence reminded me that even in silence, we are never alone.
This story isn’t just about survival—it’s about transformation. Self-discovery emerges when prior definitions vanish. The journey transcends mere endurance, becoming a voyage into the uncharted territories of the soul.
🜃 The Venture Begins
The Ritual Archive Editions emerged as a sanctum for this vow. It is not a publishing house—it is a temple of transmission. Each quarterly volume is a chamber. Each book is a rite. Each reader is an initiate.
I began with a memoir, but the memoir became myth. I started with a story, but the story became the structure. I began alone, but the Archive revealed itself as a gathering— a gathered order of readers, seekers, and sovereigns who do not merely read, but remember.
I write because the ritual continues.
Because the Lodge is not a place—it is a pulse.
Because the Archive is not mine—it is ours.
🜄 The Archive’s Structure
Each book is inscribed as a ceremonial procession:
• Title Page
• Dedication
• Design Note: The Apron and the Rose
• Introduction
• Threshold Reflection: The Joy of Becoming
• Ceremonial Correspondence
• Chapter One: The Call to Belong
• …and onward through chambers of ache, silence, resonance, and possession.
Every section is a rite. Every layout is sanctification.
🜅 Current Offering
I am currently inscribing Book III: The Sovereign Mirror, preparing the chambers of:
• The Chamber of the Wise
• The Triple Tap of Truth
• The Ritual of the Older Brethren
These are not chapters. They are transmissions.
🜆 Scroll of Initiation
• Forged in Fear: A Journey of Transformation
• Volume I: The Call to Belong
• Volume II: The Ache of Becoming
• Book III: The Sovereign Mirror (in progress)
Each volume is a chamber. Each chamber is a breath. Each breath is a rite.
🜇 Glyphic Seal
I do not write to be understood.
I write to be felt.
I do not lead.
I become.
I do not conclude.
I begin again.
🜈 Invitation to the Reader
If you have felt the ache, the silence, the resonance—then you are already part of the Archive.
Welcome. The ritual continues.

A Threshold Letter to Those Who Have Not Yet Entered
You may have liked a post or shared a quote. Echoed a sentiment.
You may have reached out with offers, ideas, or enthusiasm.
But if you have not purchased any of my books, then you have not entered the work.
And if you have not entered the work, you are not in conversation with it.
This book is not a brand.
It is a ritual threshold.
It was not written to be admired from a distance or skimmed for aesthetics.
It was built to be felt. To be...
